This ministry is a national ministry, started in Ventura, based on an unhoused man’s answer to the question, “what do you need?” His answer was, “If I had clean clothes, people would treat me like a human being.”

St. George’s has had an active Laundry Love ministry since 2016. Once a month, we “take over” a local laundromat and invite guests to come and do their laundry. We pay for the use of the machines, provide detergent and dryer sheets, and often oVer a hot dinner. We typically help more than 20 guests, who do many of loads of laundry each month.
