The Reverend Ryan Macias, Priest Associate

The Rev. Ryan Macias serves Saint George’s in a half-time capacity as Priest Associate, while also serving as Associate Rector at Saint Clement’s By-the-Sea in San Clemente.

Fr. Ryan has ministered in a variety of roles and settings up and down the West Coast, and within parish ministry maintains a special heart for formation and Christian Education. He is passionate about theology and philosophy, with a special interest in the intersection of church and culture.

A native of South Orange County, he came to faith and was later sponsored for ordination right here at Saint George’s.

He holds a Master of Divinity degree from the Church Divinity School of the Pacific, and a Bachelor of Arts in Church Music from California Lutheran University.

Outside of work, you can find him hiking the coastal trails of Southern California, or sailing with his family out of Alamitos Bay.
