Our primary worship service happens in-person, every Sunday at 10 AM. This service is also accessible via livestream.

Every Sunday we gather to sing hymns, we read several portions from sacred Scripture, we listen to a sermon, and we conclude our time with a celebration of Holy Communion.

At St. George’s, we welcome everyone to the table, and we consider it the duty of every baptized Christian to participate regularly in Holy Communion.

We invite you to come wearing whatever feels comfortable to you. Some of our folks come to church in suits, and others come wearing shorts and flip flops. We don’t have a dress code, and we want everyone to feel welcome.

St George’s is a mission of the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles— a constituent Diocese of The Episcopal Church (USA) and the worldwide Anglican Communion.
The Episcopal Church (USA) was founded around the time of the American Revolution, though we trace our theological heritage to the Church of England and the sixteenth century English Reformation.

While there is much theological diversity within The Episcopal Church and global Anglicanism, we gather ourselves around the historic ecumenical documents of the early church, including the Nicene Creed, the Apostles Creed, the Athanasian Creed, and the formularies of the Council of Chalcedon.
