Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper
All are welcome to join us for a community-wide Shrove Tuesday pancake supper, hosted by our parish Men’s Ministry. The tradition of making and eating pancakes on the day before Ash Wednesday connects us to an ancient Christian practice, wherein those preparing for the Lenten fast would clear out their pantries of eggs, sugar, milk and other rich foodstuffs. In some parts of the world, this day is also known as Mardi Gras or “Fat” Tuesday. Bring your family, bring your neighbors for an evening of good food, fellowship, and fun!
Ash Wednesday Services
Join us for worship on Ash Wednesday, February 18th.
There will be two services offered: 12pm (With Choir) and 4pm (with Cantor).

Our Palm Sunday service will take place on Sunday, March 29th at 10 AM and will include the Blessing and Procession of Palms, followed by the reading of the Passion Gospel.
Then on Wednesday, April 1 at 4PM we will gather in the sanctuary for the Office of Tenebrae. This "service of shadows" features the chanting of Psalms, readings from the Lamentations of Jeremiah, and the gradual extinguishing of candles.
Our Maundy Thursday service will take place on Thursday, April 2 at 4 PM. On this night we remember Jesus’ last supper with his friends. Through foot washing, Holy Communion, and the stripping of the altar, we are invited into Christ’s commandment to love one another—and into the vulnerability of that love. This service concludes with an invitation to keep the night watch at our all night Vigil. Those who wish to sign-up for an hour long shift may contact the church office.
Finally, on Good Friday, April 3 at 1 PM we will gather in the church for the Stations of the Cross, followed by Holy Communion from the reserve sacrament. We gather at the foot of the cross to lament, to pray for the world, and to trust that even here, God is at work.

Faith at the Frontier of Human History: A Two-Bit Conversation about AI
From enabling life-saving medical interventions to combating climate change, the innovation of Generative Artificial Intelligence marks a decisive turning point in human history, and without a doubt, will radically transform life as we know it. But the advent of AI has not come without its own costs, and moral and ethical considerations abound.
Join Father Ryan in Hasler Hall after church on January 4th and 18th for a “two-bit” discussion exploring AI through the lens of Christian theology. Together we’ll consider why, at a time when technology promises to redefine what it means to be human, the world needs a bold, courageous, and faithful Christian witness more than ever.
