Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper

All are welcome to join us for a community-wide Shrove Tuesday pancake supper, hosted by our parish Men’s Ministry. The tradition of making and eating pancakes on the day before Ash Wednesday connects us to an ancient Christian practice, wherein those preparing for the Lenten fast would clear out their pantries of eggs, sugar, milk and other rich foodstuffs. In some parts of the world, this day is also known as Mardi Gras or “Fat” Tuesday. Bring your family, bring your neighbors for an evening of good food, fellowship, and fun!
